The Tierrasanta Village, in partnership with Susan McBeth - Adventures by the Book, is pleased to launch “Tierrasanta Talks,” an exciting new fundraising opportunity for the Village, featuring two-time Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist Steve Breen. Join Steve as he shares stories from his day job at the San Diego Union Tribune, and his night job as a renowned children’s author and illustrator. Similar in concept to TED Talks, our first “Tierrasanta Talks” will be held on Wednesday, February 18, at 6:30 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Admission is $5 per TVSD member, and $10 per non-member, of which $5 per person will be donated to TVSD. Non-Members and TVSD members may register by dropping off a check or cash at the Clubhouse or pay by credit Card online at www.tierrasantavillage.org. Steve’s books, including his most recent, Unicorn Executions: And Other Crazy Stuff My Kids Make Me Draw, will be available for purchase and autographing at the event.
